It’s Liu Wen’s second season as face of the brand and she couldn’t be happier. “When I was a kid, I always looked at the Coach ads in magazines and every time I saw the horse carriage in the logo, I wished that one day I could be a princess in that carriage!” There might not be horse carriages in the Spring/Summer ’14 campaign, but that doesn’t mean it’s any less of a dream come true. “I moved to New York three years ago without speaking English at all, but the city was so welcoming; I’ve fallen in love with the place and the culture.” In Beijing to unveil the campaign, she was decked head to toe in new-season Coach: a butter-soft leather varsity jacket over a heather grey shirtdress and strappy mid-height sandals.
