How did it all begin? C: Elke was a chef when we first met. We clicked on the realisation that many in KL want to change their lifestyles and eat better, closer to the food source. After some research we found that there was no one in KL delivering fresh, nutritious food, so we decided to take the plunge and start the business. Your fundamental philosophy? E: The idea that eating healthy is not just good for the individual, but also the environment. C: Awareness is crucial. Some people think that if they eat raw, they have to radically change their diets, but it is really about trying new things and broadening your food experience. What makes all the difference? E: Everything comes back to energy; organic produce has a higher measurable frequency than conventionally farmed produce. Our ancestors were getting this great source of raw energy because they foraged for food in nature without processing it. Of course, we see our vocation as giving modern, super-busy people the opportunity to enjoy these high-energy foods easily and daily. C: Exactly! The food we provide is as raw and organic as possible, so it already has a much higher vibration. Advice for people who are afraid of trying raw foods? E: We are only as healthy as our body is able to eliminate toxic waste. And honestly, I don’t know anyone who achieves that without having a diet rich in raw foods. C: A detox usually is for a short time; it is good but it will only have a long-term effect when you make lasting lifestyle changes. Start small, and always think what you can add instead of cut out. Think how and when you can eat one more portion of vegetables or fruits per day. The best way to ease into it? C: Starting a new lifestyle can sometimes be challenging if you try it yourself. We support this process with coaching, workshops, and building that sense of community. E: Think of where you are and where you would like to be by what time.
