1 ORANGE IS THE NEW BLACK

“There’s a new dark side to her,” reveals actress Yael Stone of her character, Lorna Morello. OITNB’s second season “really takes a turn,” she adds. “There’s a divide between racial groups, and characters have to choose sides.”

2 THE LEFTOVERS

“The show begins after two percent of the population has gone missing,” explains Margaret Qualley, who joins Justin Theroux and Liv Tyler in HBO’s latest thriller. Qualley (who is also Andie MacDowell’s daughter) makes her television debut as rebellious teen Jill Garvey.

3 UNDER THE DOME

“Julia gets scrappier in Season 2,” says Rachelle Lefevre of her role in CBS’s sci-fi series, based on a novel by Stephen King. “It’s exciting, because I like any show where the women are just as tough as the men.”

4 HALT AND CATCH FIRE

“Doing a series set in 1983 brings all the great nostalgia you’d expect, like old video games,” says Kerry Bishé, who plays an angsty code writer on AMC’s drama about the early days of the computer revolution. “Also,” Bishé shares, “my character looks just like old pictures of my mum.”
