Award-winning Chinese director Jiang Wen’s highly anticipated movie, Gone With The Bullets, was styled by the maestro of Italian perfection, Giorgio Armani. Throughout the film, the leading cast wore looks from the Giorgio Armani collection.
Mr. Armani collaborated with acclaimed art director William Chang, who was recently nominated for an Academy Award for Best Costume Design. Said Armani, “Working with talented filmmakers worldwide can always stimulate my unlimited inspiration. I have always been fascinated by the eastern metropolis – Shanghai, for its unique style and charm, from the past to the future, connecting the East and West.”
Set in picturesque Shanghai during the Roaring Twenties, Gone With The Bullets was actually based on a true story. Scheduled for release on December 18 in China, Armani fans can hardly wait.
