Lois Lee Sa­lon Al­ways mo­ti­vated to stand out from the crowd, Lois Lee counts Malaysian mu­sic elite such as Mizz Nina and rock queen Ella among his many celebrity clients. “I have al­ways be­lieved that in order to be apart from the rest, one should start to be­lieve in one­self, to be dif­fer­ent, and trust your own cre­ativ­ity,” shares Lee, who de­signs avant-garde looks us­ing var­i­ous hair pieces.

A small braid adds in­ter­est to an easy pony­tail. “A plait loses child­like con­no­ta­tions when set back a few inches,”

says hair­styl­ist Ni­co­las Jurn­jack. “It must look or­ganic and real. Don’t braid rigidly or ap­ply prod­ucts di­rectly on it.”
