Spanish brand Desigual splashed the runway with signature ethnic prints. Colour was the main theme, playing against the dark nuances of autumn. Meanwhile, Nic Wong’s Saturday showed a clever play of shapes and structure that complimented the feminine form. At Hansel, mobile phone-wielding models snapped selfies as they came down the runway; the fairy light motifs were a breath of fresh air. And Ashley Isham’s collection, paired with mesh vale hats, was inspired by the English countryside and couture silhouettes of the ’50s and ’60s.
