To cap­ture this “asper­ity” on­screen, Bai­ley turned to two of his most beloved Burberry mod­els, who are prob­a­bly the best and only choices to front this fra­grance: Cara Delev­ingne, cur­rent fash­ion dar­ling and In­sta­gram queen, and Kate Moss, leg­endary su­per­model and fash­ion icon. Both are well-known faces of the Bri­tish fash­ion in­dus­try, and bona fide em­bod­i­ments of the past and fu­ture.

Says Kurkdjian: “You know Cara, she has tat­toos on her hand but she has aris­to­cratic blood. The cam­paign and the fra­grance – they are di­rect trans­la­tions and ex­plain ev­ery­thing. Kate and Cara im­me­di­ately send out the right mes­sage.”

Kurkdjian, how­ever, ad­mits he had not had th­ese icons in mind, but con­cedes “they fit per­fectly – two gen­er­a­tions of mod­els and both unique, and both Bri­tish.”
