It is par for the course that women today want the most from their skincare regime and it is also no secret that insiders always have an ear to the ground with what the Korean skincare brands are launching. Having emerged as a real player in the beauty industry stakes, whether in aesthetics modification or super luxe and high-tech creams, Korea continues to brand itself as a nation obsessed with porcelain skin and refined features. Of the plethora of options available, one that’s ahead of the pack is Sulwhasoo. BAZAAR touched base with the holistic luxury skincare brand recently at the lush environs of The Datai, Langkawi. In the company of several celebrity fans of the brand from Malaysia and Thailand, Sulwhasoo presented the latest generation of its premium anti-aging collection, Sulwhasoo Timetreasure EX. There are five products in the range, all of which rely on the healing properties of the legendary Korean Red Pine, that allows for an ostensible reversal of the aging process, giving women back their beautiful, youthful radiance.

We were served authentic Korean pine needle tea to reinforce in our minds the healing qualities of the pine. It has four to five times more Vitamin C than a glass of orange juice and a concentrated amount of Vitamin A, which invigorates the immune system. The celebrities, who had of course, tried the range, related their experience with this premium collection.

Award-winning Malaysian actress, Debbie Goh who has a hectic schedule, shared that she loved the Timetreasure Renovating Cream EX because of its luxurious texture and scent. “With just a tiny amount, it glides on smoothly and day by day, I notice an improvement in the quality of my skin – and a lifting effect too!”

Actress Chris Tong, who fell in love with the Timetreasure Renovating Eye Cream EX, says, “For me, it’s significant because it has the benefit of a total anti-aging eye cream which helps combat all signs of aging. Best of all, it has brightening benefits as well that masks the fact that I don’t always have the luxury of beauty sleep.” Both celebrities appreciate that the range is holistic in nature, with the red pine and ginseng as prime ingredients, and they also acknowledge its remarkable anti-aging benefits.

“As someone who really appreciates great design, the real plus point for me is the packaging,” proclaims Goh. “It’s almost like a work of art.” TIMETREASURE RENOVATING
