One cannot deny the feminine power that Oscar de la Renta’s designs hold. In honour of the late fashion maestro, the Fine Arts Museums of San Francisco pays tribute. Set to take on the art hub’s space with grandeur is ‘Oscar de la Renta: The Retrospective’, a world premiere installation displaying more than 130 ensembles that document de la Renta’s becoming as a designer during his lifetime—from his early days in Spain where he scored his first commission works, to his formative years in various fashion houses, to his role as the crafter of clothes that celebrated inspiring personalities around the world.
