1 I can’t help but wonder if this little character here could look a little like me— behind big glasses and in a cozy Fendi coat.
2 Le Marais is one of my favourite areas in Paris (largely because it’s near the charming Merci store), and next time I’m back, I have my heart set on staying in this gem of a hotel— hopefully in the winter when I can snuggle up in any one of the hotel’s bijou corners.
3 Tweed is classic but Sarah Burton gives it a rugged update with raw fringes and a fluted hem. My many black dresses will have to make way for this multicoloured masterpiece.
4 With its tuberose and ylang ylang notes, La Femme Prada Intense is the dream garden I’m dabbing on to seal the look of the day.
5 I’m loving the way I feel in midi/maxi dresses this season ... until I have to choose what shoes to wear. Stilettos are not always kind to my feet and flats don’t give me the height. These chunky boots might just be the perfect marriage for all my flowy, floral dresses.
6 There is always room for fun with scarves, and Paul Smith is leading the party with its animal print collection, featuring all my favourite forest friends: monkeys, birds, and big colourful blooms.
7 Alessandro Michele knows how to draw out all my maximalist tendencies. There’s a lot going on here: brass fox head with Swarovski crystal eyes, beetle print, bamboo handle, and snakeskin patch; and yet, it’s one sturdy sexy bag. Sign me up!
8 One thing I will never take for granted is the power of a good belt. In fact, I collect many belts and have found them to be my secret styling weapon. Good thing there are many inspirational cinched-in looks this Autumn/Winter, and on top of my list is this Chanel black belt with brown resin buckle.
9 Sometimes, a lady needs more than a pair of metal hoop earrings. This one is decorated in fabric, which makes it exponentially chicer.
10 I love pearls but can’t quite do a string of them. This Céline necklace is balanced with ivory gold, and is like having a mini Calder installation on your neck.
