BAZAAR x KLFW RTW 2017
As designers descended into the city in a fashion flurry for the annual Kuala Lumpur Fashion Week RTW, style enthusiasts from Malaysia and around the region flocked to Pavilion KL in a week dedicated to discovering new talents while being wowed by crowd favourites. This year, KLFW was made all the more thrilling with the exclusive BAZAAR Lounge—the first-ever BAZAAR pop-up space on the Couture floor of Pavilion KL. Offering an all-day respite in between shows, fashionable friends of the magazine kicked up their heels and indulged in quick hair and make-up touch-ups,

With its glowing hot-pink neon sign that drew in only the most stylish faces, the BAZAAR Lounge was abuzz with exclusive backstage interviews, beauty and styling workshops, trend talks with industry insiders, and cocktail-hour tête-à-tête with top designers when they stopped by before and after their shows. From Dato’ Seri Dr Farah Khan, Alia Bastamam, Melinda Looi, Izrin Ismail from Innai Red, Khoon Hooi, Jonathan Liang, and Tengku Syahmi, to celebrities such as Fyza Kadir, Deborah Henry, and Thanuja Ananthan—guests who dropped by throughout the day were treated to a Caffé Marino cuppa and refreshing bottles of Sanpellegrino.
