Noble Mansion
WHY GO
Noble Mansion provides an extensive menu about as thick as a novel, and the wide array of dishes available will surely impress.
TATLER TIPS This restaurant differs slightly from its sister restaurants in the Oriental group in that it showcases cuisine from Shunde, Guangzhou, China.
• The liver sausage “char siew” roll is a good example of Shunde-style small bites; the coppery taste of the liver is balanced beautifully with bacon and spring onions.
• Soups get the proper treatment here. Check out less conventional choices such as the chicken and dried scallop consommé served in a teapot, poured over sliced ginger.
• Another stand-out dish is the deep-fried sesame-coated chicken, served Peking-duck style.
