Strato
Why Go
Dark wood panelling and glass fixtures give Strato an edgy feel, while the terracotta-tiled floor and tabletops are a nod to its Italian character. The restaurant also offers spectacular views of KLCC park and the buildings on its fringe.
Tatler tips
Strato changes its lunch menu on a monthly basis and its dinner menu once every three months. It does two seatings for dinner and it’s advisable to make reservations.
• Strato offers an interesting range of pastas and pizzas. Try the linguine with crab meat and cherry tomatoes in a crab sauce, topped with crispy garlic; and the seafood pizza with a generous amount of fish, squid, clams and béchamel sauce.
• Save stomach space for the divine pan-seared duck breast accompanied by a balsamic cream sauce that brings out the rich flavour of the meat.
