Tatto
WHY GO
Tatto is comfortable without being too casual, gregarious without being brash. It’s not a romantic setting—nor does it set out to be—and is more suited for casual dinners.
TATLER TIPS
Food-wise, expect a menu of Italian staples, from pastas and pizzas to osso bucco and Milanese pan-fried veal.
• To warm up, order the perfectly seared scallops with crispy smoked duck, Pimiento sauce and an outstanding pea puree that’s good enough to be bottled and sold on its own.
• We highly recommend the crab linguine, a simple dish served with generous chunks of sweet crabmeat and cherry tomato. The pasta is cooked al dente in its truest form and not a single degree close to being overcooked.
• For a pizza with the lot, order the Alla Tatto topped with salami, pepperoni, mushrooms, peppers, onions and cherry tomatoes.
