Qing Palace

WHY GO

Located in the Pulai Springs Resort, Qing Palace serves up a traditional Oriental setting complete with antique furniture and a sumptuous Szechuan menu.

TATLER TIPS

Have your fill for Szechuan delicacies at this sprawling 200-seater. Qing Palace also has a separate dining room that can accommodate up to 24 guests for those after more privacy.

• Some winners include: the sautéed prawns with salt that come with fresh crunchy prawns, the tender flavourful mutton stewed in a claypot with dried beancurd, and the fresh scallops with asapargus.

• It may be Teochew rather than Szechuan, but Qing Palaca serves up an excellent orh nee— i.e yam paste. Smooth and silky, and not overly sweet, it is a delightful treat to end the meal.
