WHY GO
Delectable fusion cuisine, sexy mood lighting and after-dinner entertainment all come together at this elegant upstairs restaurant.
WHAT TO ORDER
The saffron-scented arancini is served on a bed of tomato coulis. Biting into the crunchy exterior of the arancini gives way to creamy risotto and mozzarella inside. Also noteworthy is the salmon crudo, which is made up of thin slices of salmon, given a little sweetness and tang with lemon curd.
The herb-crusted New Zealand rack of lamb comes highly recommended. The lamb is wonderfully cooked and the herb crust gives the dish a flavourful crunch. The perfectly grilled black angus sirloin is also an excellent choice. True to its name, the meat is perfectly grilled to a medium rare with a melt-in-the-mouth texture. Dauphinoise potatoes and grilled asparagus make perfect accompaniments to both meat dishes.
For a sweet ending, try the chocolate lava purse. The crunchy pastry is served with a snowing of icing sugar. Cracking into the pastry reveals a spilling of decadent chocolate lava that is complemented with a scoop of vanilla ice-cream.
