The amuse bouche of strawberry and ricotta tart is a wonderful opening to the meal as it combines sweet, sour, spicy and salty elements in one dish.

The smoked duck breast is moist and exudes a hint of smokiness while the onion confit, spicy rocket and balsamic vinegar make wonderful accompanim­ents to the succulent slices of duck.

The ribeye steak is done to medium doneness — brown on the outside and a lovely pink on the inside. The accompanyi­ng bernaise sauce adds a lovely tang and goes well with the meat while the grilled Mediterran­ean vegetables round up the dish perfectly.

This sensationa­l meal is finished with a strawberry cheesecake and a chocolate mousse. The cheesecake has a refreshing taste while the mousse is fluffy and airy. Both desserts are light and a fabulous way to end the meal.
