The burrata is the perfect way to start your meal at Peppino. The fresh, soft, melt-in-your-mouth cheese with marinated tomatoes, arugula and basil oil hits all the right spots in terms of flavour and texture. The Italian cheese is perfectly complemented by the peppery flavour from the arugula and sweetness from the tomatoes.
The chilled Australian veal is a must-try. The veal is tender, juicy and cooked to the right doneness. The fresh roasted asparagus, baby potatoes and truffle sauce all come together nicely to make this dish a clear winner.
Peppino thrives on a menu that’s both creative and traditional, and the authentic Italian flavours are preserved in some of the dishes like the risotto and pasta selection. The lobster risotto with organic cherry tomatoes and burrata cheese is particularly enjoyable; it is cooked just right and the burrata cheese plays a lovely symphony on the palate.
