he year was 1966. The young Italian design entrepreneur Piero Ambrogio Busnelli established C&B Italia (which would later become B&B Italia) together with cofounder Cesare Cassina. From the get-go, Busnelli was determined to spread worldwide the culture of design and living by introducing quality industrial design in an already sophisticated furnishing market. Armed with tenacity and an unwavering spirit, Busnelli led the company to international success by bringing a high degree of technological and design innovation to its products. These achievements were made possible through the seamless partnerships with renowned designers including Mario Bellini, Gaetano Pesce, and Ludovico Magistretti.
