French artisanal metalworker and manufacturer Pouenat’s latest furniture collection infuses interior architect architectural creativity, giving rise to a distinct sculptural style
We have a longtime collaboration with Pouenat. Their creations are regularly integrated in our projects, private residences or hotels, such as Cheval Blanc in Courchevel, or the Royal Atlantis and its 250 luxury residences in Dubai. We appreciate their know-how and ability to adapt a product to our specific needs. Thus when we decided to develop our own furniture and lighting collection it was obvious that we should rely on their expertise. The creation of furniture and lighting collections, combining modernity and tradition, luxury and elegance, is part of the creative direction of our studio and its international projects. My taste for noble materials, mixed with my sense of detail inspired me. The collection hinges on five themes mixing emotion, imagination and sensuality, taking in consideration of both functional aspects as well as market needs. Any creation – whether interior or product design – requires adjustments. The research and development phases are part of the process, and make the designing challenge even more exciting. Thanks to a close collaboration between our design studio and their technical department, we are always confident in Pouenat’s ability to find a manufacturing solution even in developing new finishes to reach our common objective. Efficient communication with the workshop is as important as our relationship with our clients when developing an interior design project. Faith in the expertise is the key. My favourite piece is the Fusion console and dining table. A dining
