Challenging Nature

With the unveiling of the three lines of the Nature Triomphante high jewellery collection—Naturaliste, Surrealiste and Alchemiste—Boucheron and its artisans prove they could give Mother Nature a run for her money. Alchemiste, for example, includes the stunning Eternal Flowers series of nine rings created with some of the most complex—and secretive—techniques the maison has ever developed. Real petals, pistils and stamens from anemones, pansies, hydrangeas and peonies were used to recreate the flowers in permanent form with the expertise of French artist Claire Boucl. The components were scanned and stabilised using a chemical-free technique, and were then combined with precious stones and mounted on titanium. The creation of these immortal flowers marks a new chapter in naturalistic jewellery.
