Ever, Ever After
Once upon a time, an engineer by the name of Jim Tan met the gorgeous chartered accountant, Enya Chen, in the Land Down Under. Alas, they had to endure the challenges of the (evil) LDR, otherwise known as Long Distance Relationship—as Jim had to travel to the Land of the Rising Sun, while Enya traversed to the distant lands of Europe, both for work. Each however kept the faith that one day, they would be man and wife. At last their stars aligned, and both moved back to Malaysia to start a new chapter. The wedding reception took place at the grand ballroom of the Mandarin Oriental KL—as the couple fulfilled their fairy tale fantasy with a lavishly adorned pumpkin-shaped carriage and a Disney-themed castle backdrop for photos. Among the spectators who witnessed and cheered on the couple’s joyous union included prominent individuals such as the Laksamana Madya Tan Sri Ahmad Ramli Mohd Nor from Boustead Holdings Berhad, renowned fashion designer Dato’ Sri Bernard Chandran alongside numerous other reputable members of society.
