Although interfaith marriage can be a touchy subject, it was but a small hurdle for Olivia Constance Nicholas and Dr Sandeep Menon. Letting love guide the way, the couple officiated their union with not one, two or three, but four ceremonies: at Our Mother of Perpetual Help Church and Syuen Hotel in Ipoh, Sri Sundaraja Perumal Temple in Klang, and Setia City Convention Centre in Shah Alam. It was the Shah Alam convocation that Malaysia Tatler was happy to witness. Known to society at large as Miss International Malaysia 2016, Olivia indirectly met her beau through the world of beauty pageants after he congratulated her over her win via Facebook. Four years of long-distance correspondence culminated in a wedding like no other, replete with a record-breaking wedding veil—the longest in Malaysia at 120.56 metres.
