It was while being tasked to organise a charity fundraiser that Dr Priyya and Satyakumar truly bonded. “We got to know each other on a more personal level, discussing our views and thoughts... I think that’s when we both realised we’ve much in common, likes and dislikes as well as philosophies in life,” divulged Priyya. She described their relationship as one that started off as friends, sharing their highs and lows with each other—for three years— before the pair decided to date seriously and take the next steps toward marriage. Their union even featured the presence of premier Tun Mahathir and his wife.
