LORD’S TAILOR
“Everyone should own a tuxedo, for a good tux would last you a lifetime,” says Kenny Loh, creative director of Lord’s Tailor. A tuxedo typically signifies a formal affair, especially for those who wish to make their weddings official and conventional. His general rule of thumb is that if the reception is at night then a dark coloured suit will be a safe bet. If it takes place in the day and the occasion is less formal in nature, light colours should be the go-to choice. Vests or cummerbund should also be incorporated in the style as they help the wearer to maintain a straight posture. He suggests that the groom plays around with stylish accessories to keep the look fresh and that includes pocket squares, self-tied bowties, lapel pins and most importantly a matching pair of shoes.
