The love story between Adeline Chua and Barry Edmonds turned a new chapter when they tied the knot after a seven-year courtship

or seven years, Barry Edmonds and Adeline Chua have gone through the ups and downs of life with each other. Their paths crossed each other’s regularly throughout the early stages of their lives, mainly because they are family friends. Love did not come at first sight for these two lovebirds; they hit it off as platonic friends at first. Nonetheless their friendship bloomed into love over the years. What sealed the deal for their romance was their shared appreciation for laughter and making jokes. To illustrate, Adeline tells us how Barry once expressed his appreciation for her almond-shaped eyes. “He teasingly mentioned he was attracted to my ‘insect’ eyes and that I looked like a cute bug. I knew he meant it in a good way, so I can laugh about it,” says Adeline, who emanates warmth and a jolly sense of humour herself.

“Over our seven-year relationship, we have learnt to be utterly and completely honest with one another and to always be funny for each other. More importantly, we never forget to be each other’s friend,” she adds.
