A lunch was hosted to congratulate Datuk Seri Azman Ujang on his appointment as chairman of Bernama—the national news agency, which was held at the Royal Lake Club, Kuala Lumpur. The Sarawakian rose from the ranks after having joined Bernama in 1971, as a cadet reporter at its Sarawak bureau.
