The new MCM Haus in Seoul is the fashion pit-stop of millennials

Modern Creationeation München (MCM), the luxury travelvel goods and accessoriesories brand has teamedd up with world-renowned architects Neri & Hu to design MCM Haus, which has become, since its opening, Seoul’s new go-to fashion hub for millennial fashionistas and trendsetters. The German luxury purveyor’s redesigned Seoul flagship, spans five floors and features large entrances that give you a peek indoors. It also features bronze metal mesh that shade the windows to create texture and depth, to entice its viewers. Elements of concrete can be seen around the impressive building and is a way to pay tribute to the classic Bauhaus functionalism and spirit. Inside MCM Haus, you’ll find a delightful café and rooftop garden to socialise and take a break from shopping. The first two floors of the building showcase MCM’S collection line pieces and the third floor is exclusive to VIP customers. On the fifth floor, there is a unique art installation by German contemporary artist, Tobias Rehberger. MCM Haus was designed based on a look into the future of modern retail. A world which celebrates the technological advances of the digital age while still honouring MCM’S commitment to heritage, craftsmanship, quality and detail. “We are interested in creating a space that embraces Bauhaus’ totality of artistic mediums spanning from industrial graphic, furniture, interior design and architecture,” explained the designers Lydon Neri and Rosanna Hu. In celebration of MCM’S new home, the classic Berlin Series bags are now Bauhaus inspired and come in electric blue and yellow colours which are sold exclusively here. Enjoy your visit at the uber cool MCM Haus—a place to exchange, participate, discover, learn and grow.
