Successful, charming and bright, one would never have guessed that Xavier Mah’s life wasn’t always that easy. Coming from a single parent family, Mah had a difficult past. As a child, he had dreams of getting out of this misery and from a tender young age, he understood that to achieve his dreams, he had to work hard. “Nothing was presented to me on a silver tray and whenever I wanted something, I had to do everything I could to get it,” confided Mah. “I strongly believe that nothing is impossible if you strive for success.” Mah had a keen interest in working with media while he was in high school. Inspired by a former NTV7 anchorwoman, Hong Ju Khee, he also realised the importance and benefits of being multilingual. Thus he ambitiously studied English, Malay and Mandarin for his STPM, and was duly rewarded. In 2010, Xavier Mah Consultancy was born and flourished, working closely with the media for an impressive portfolio of clients such as Red Army Watches, L’occitane, Caffe Crema and MYORTHO, to name a few. Later, Mah then wanted to get involved in the fabulous and ever evolving fashion scene. This time, the sassy HBO series, Sex and the City, was the inspiration for XALF. “The four women, most notably Sarah Jessica Parker as Carrie Bradshaw, exude so much style, inimitable cosmopolitan
