Area general manger of Shangri-la Kuala Lumpur, Manfred Weber shares with Sabrina Loh on the revamped areas of the hotel, which we expect to have guests humming with delight

Manfred weber is an expert hotelier and has been the general manger of the esteemed ShangriLa Kuala Lumpur for three years. “I’m still enjoying every single day of it!” he proclaims. The hotel has a rock solid reputation for being one of the top luxury hotels in Malaysia, providing an exceptional guest experience since 1985. The award-winning hotel recently underwent a massive renovation of the grand ballroom, 13 function rooms and the Lemon Garden, which has long been a dining favourite. “Our hotel is fortunate that it has always been a rather busy place and hence our function facilities have been utilised by countless guests over the years,” says Weber. “It was simply the time to refresh, bring a new feel and also to update the technology we have for our guests, so we can provide the best experience possible.” We speak to him to find out more about the exciting new look and what we can expect.
