HRH SULTAN SHARAFUDDIN IDRIS SHAH’S 71ST BIRTHDAY PARTY
In an intimate affair surrounded by his closest friends and family, HRH Sultan Sharafuddin Idris Shah once again celebrated his birthday at the private residence of Tan Sri Razman and Puan Sri Latiffah Hashim. True to the Sultan’s humble roots and demeanour, the dresscode was set to smart casual and His Royal Highness greeted guests with a smile and handshake, personally, upon arrival. The party started off with a mingling session, preceding the buffet dinner comprising local and western cuisine. The night was complemented by the Batak Band who performed a number of well-known hits. This was then followed by singing and dancing, during which Tan Sri Razman himself showcased his talent by serenading guests with a couple of his choice songs. When asked what the highlight of the party was, the gracious host answered, “Meeting with old friends who have been faithfully attending this special occasion for the past 15 years.” Among guests who attended this event were Tunku Dara Naquiah, Datin Norely Abdul Rahman, Puan Sri Annette Bashir, Aini Baharuddin, Tan Sri Lee Kim Yew, and Tengku Razaleigh Hamzah, just to name a few.
