CHANGES IN TIME
One of the Swiss greats in the world of horology has a reshuffling of power in its upper echelon
Vacheron constantin counts itself among some of the oldest Swiss watch manufacturers. Founded in 1755, the company is now undergoing a change in its higher management. Its previous CEO, Juan Carlos Torres, joined in 1981 and has helmed the reputable watch manufacture since 2005. He will be stepping down from operational management and handing the reins over to Louis Ferla. Currently serving as the managing director of sales and marketing at Vacheron Constantin, Ferla will assume his new role beginning this month. “It’s an honour for me to lead Vacheron Constantin, a maison whose expertise has been passed on from generation to generation since 1755. This transition side by side with Juan Carlos Torres will enable us perpetuate the spirit of excellence that drives our manufacture,” says Ferla. During this transition, Torres will still remain in a non-executive president role.
