Girl, Uninterrupted

Ilove editing the magazine, because I get to learn something new from the fascinating people that we profile each and every month. I recently learned something about Vivy Yusof, one half of our cover stars and a Generation T-lister. Upon finding out that she has her own blog, proudduck. com, couldn’t help but do some ‘research.’ And so the first article that I came upon was her entry regarding her white pants. That piece was so wonderfully written, and the build-up to the end made me laugh. Her warm and engaging personality shone through, and I have to say, I just fell in love with her. I am not alone in this adoration; reading the comments section below,w, her fans clearly relate to her. They share in her frustrations, her joy, her sense of humour, and feel inspired by her. One comment read: ...I am also thinking of journalism as my second degree.e. Thank you Vivy, for always making our day. Another one went: I was laughing uproariously reading this entry! Thanks Vivy for making my day a little brighter. That’s the effect Vivy Yusof has on people. Her genuineness makes people want to know her better, or be more like her. And in turn, this has contributed to her popularity and success as friends, readers and fans continue to support her, through Fashionvalet, her duck headscarf brand, or her reality TV series, Love Vivy. Heck, every time we post a photo of Vivy on Malaysia Tatler’s Instagram, our number of followers go up. Such is the powerwer of this petite influencer.
