THE ANNUAL SENTEBALE ROYAL SALUTE POLO CUP IN SINGAPORE
St Regis Hotels & Resorts together with Sentebale presented the highly anticipated 2017 Sentebale Royal Salute Polo Cup —with the match taking place at the Singapore Polo Club. An annual fundraising event, the match raised money for Prince Harry’s charity Sentebale, which supports vulnerable children and young people affected by HIV in Lesotho and Botswana, in southern Africa. Officially kicking off the polo season, Prince Harry captained the Sentebale team, competing against St Regis connoisseur and Sentebale ambassador Nacho Figueras, who captained the St Regis team. In an exhilarating match, the Sentebale ISPS Handa team clinched victory over the St Regis team by three points. Following a spirited day on the polo field, The St Regis Singapore hosted an exclusive patrons dinner in a tropical paradise-themed ballroom, inspired by Singapore’s Unesco botanical gardens.
