Nomadic goddesses reigned in Ralph Lauren’s desert-themed vision for fall/winter 2017. The maison’s signature preppie-gypset aesthetic was sprinkled with a touch of Arabian Nights in silk loungewear layered over rolled-up jeans, a toga gown cinched with a leather belt, and oversized earrings and worn-gold necklaces. Talk about making a dramatic exit: some gowns were plain in front with an entirely different backstory, as scoop necklines behind framed dramatic bejewelled necklaces.
