KENNY HILLS BAKERS ON THE PARK

Homegrown success Kenny Hills Bakers has been serving fresh coffee, cakes and organic bread since 2014, beginning from a humble half-lot in Bukit Tunku and eventually expanding to numerous distinguis­hed KL and Selangor neighbourh­oods. The bakery-cum-café opens its latest outlet at The Exchange TRX, catering to office goers seeking coffee alongside freshly baked bread and pastries to go and gourmands looking to take it slow and indulge in a selection of hearty dishes made to order. Kenny Hills Bakers On The Park offers a selection of gourmet sandwiches for those who choose the latter. A fan favourite is the salt beef reuben toastie, a savoury combinatio­n of sourdough, succulent salt beef, grainy mustard, gherkins and melted gruyère. The café also offers a curated selection of local favourites, with the basmati nasi lemak served with ayam berempah and assam prawns, alongside the usual trimmings, proving popular among returning diners. Wood-fired sourdough pizzas are great for sharing, as are classic comfort foods like lasagna and shepherd’s pie. The bakery also offers seasonal treats throughout the year. WARUNG EROPA

Famous Indonesian fine dining restaurant Warung Eropa brings “the finest duck in Bali” to The Exchange TRX. Experience three meticulous­ly crafted set menus for two only available in December, surrounded by an elegant, authentic Balinese ambience, with each menu designed to showcase the restaurant’s signature specialiti­es. The signature duck, best enjoyed with fragrant steamed white rice, urap urap (a steamed salad served with a spicy grated coconut dressing) and three types of signature sambal, is a must-have. Indonesian favourites such as sop buntut, beef oxtail, and fried chicken served with a unique crunchy condiment and house-made sambal merah, are essentials that also shouldn’t be missed.

TIPSY FLAMINGO

Singapore F&B group Tipsy Collective, renowned for its focus on live entertainm­ent, gourmet food and premium drinks, arrives for the first time to Malaysia with Tipsy Flamingo. This 80s inspired restaurant, complete with its own in-house flamingo mascot named Flo, will introduce a new way to enjoy familiar favourites with creative fusion delicacies.
