Celebs catch ‘J Revolusi’ at exclusive screening
AN exclusive screening of J Revolusi, the action film that has collected over RM2.5 million at the box office to date, was graced by local stars yesterday.
Among them were Azhar Sulaiman, Hafidz Roshdi, Hafiz Hatim, Dennis Yin, Rashidi Ishak, Azwan Kombos, Dayah Bakar, Suriati Kamaruddin and members of Pesawat Band.
Moviegoers and fans were seen taking selfies and chatting with the celebrities before the evening screening at Tanjung Golden Village’s Indulge cinema at the 1 Utama Shopping Centre in Petaling Jaya.
J Revolusi stars Zul Ariffin as Jay Zulkarnain, a lead police officer in the special operations unit, Unit Tindakan Khas (UTK).
He is blamed for the deaths of several operatives and has to clear his name, while saving his kidnapped sister and stopping a terrorist plot masterminded by a shadowy kingpin.
Along the way, he is assisted by two fellow UTK personnel sympathetic to his cause.
Zulkarnain Azhar directed the film, which also stars Farid Kamil, Izara Aishah, Nur Fazura, Azad Jamin and Iedil Putra, as well as ONE Championship mixed martial arts professionals Peter Davis and Saiful Merican.
