-

KUALA LUMPUR: Digistar Corp Bhd will invest RM40 million to expand its newlydeveloped and comprehensive security system and services, Panther Mobile, overseas.

Group chief executive officer Datuk Lee Wah Chong said he was optimistic about the demand for security services as safety concerns had been rising in Malaysia and neighbouring countries.

“There are plans to offer the services to other Southeast Asian countries, including Thailand, Indonesia and the Philippines, over the next three years,” he said in a filing to Bursa Malaysia yesterday.

Lee said the company would set up 30 service centres and concept stores nationwide in five years.

He said Digistar targeted to capture three per cent of the market share and 300,000 customers over five years.

Panther Mobile was developed in partnership with United States-based compan, React Mobile Ltd. Bernama
