KIMCHI LOVE

THE stars of Astro Shaw’s latest release Kimchi Untuk Awak made an appearance at the romcom’s gala screening at GSC Pavilion KL recently.

They comprised Emma Maembong, Aiman Hakim Ridza, Janna Nick, Dira Abu Zahar, Ungku Hariz, Natasha Elyzza and Normah Damanhuri.

Director Michael Ang and novelist Suri Ryana, whose novel the movie was adapted from, were also present.

Kimchi Untuk Awak revolves around Seoul university undergraduate Bella (Emma), who has a nasty encounter with a half-Korean, half-Malay man Daniel (Aiman).

To her horror, their parents are old friends who urge the two to get married.

The film will open in cinemas on March 30.
