SEB, GE sign power station service pact

KUALA LUMPUR: Sarawak Energy Bhd (SEB) has signed a long-term service agreement with General Electric’s Power Services (GE) for the operations and maintenance support of the Tanjung Kidurong power station in Bintulu. SEB said the eight-year contract would result in increased plant reliability and performance, enabling energy conservation and reducing maintenance costs. GE will provide training for operations and maintenance personnel, technical support and major spare parts for the plant.
