Ex­po­nent de­lays re­tire­ment for fi­nal tilt at world meet, Asian Games

Jack Chang has never won a medal in the Asian Games and he hopes to achieve it be­fore he re­tires in In­done­sia next year.

“I still have many dreams to achieve be­fore I re­tire. It is more dif­fi­cult to win a medal in the Asian Games com­pared to the world meet.

“In the Asian Games, the tai­ji­quan and tai­ji­jian dis­ci­plines are com­bined. In the world meet and Sea Games, medals are of­fered in each event,” said Jack Chang, who took 10th spot in the 2014 In­cheon Asian Games.

In the 2015 Sin­ga­pore Sea Games, Jack Chang was Malaysia’s only in­di­vid­ual gold medal­list, achieved in the com­pul­sory tai­ji­quan
