MyRumah fair heads north
ALOR STAR: The New Straits Times Press (M) Bhd (NSTP) yesterday sealed an agreement with Aman Central Mall to host a three-day MyRumah Property Showcase in August.
NSTP regional and creative services general manager Zulkarnain Abd Talib said the showcase would be held from Aug 4 to 6 at the mall’s ground floor, covering 1,390 sq m of exhibition space.
“We are targeting 15 to 20 property developers to showcase their affordable products. It will be a platform for developers from Kedah, Penang and Perak to reach out to potential buyers and investors in the northern region.
“There is a huge demand for affordable housing and the MyRumah showcase is the right platform for developers to promote their products to the target group,” he said after representing NSTP at the signing of a memorandum of understanding with Aman Central Mall.
The mall was represented by its marketing communications manager, Wendy Wong.
Zulkarnain said there would be talks by experts and consultants in mortgage and financing, investment, financial management and feng shui.
Wong said Aman Central Mall’s ability to pull one million visitors monthly would boost NSTP’s target to attract a large crowd to the showcase.
