3 PKR reps deny plot to quit

-

KUALA LUMPUR: The three PKR assemblymen accused of being involved in a supposed plot to bring down the PKR-led Selangor state government have denied the rumour, saying they will remain loyal to their party.

Rodziah Ismail, Idris Ahmad and Yaakob Sapari yesterday made it clear they would not leave PKR to form a coalition government in Selangor with Umno and Pas.

Rodziah, Idris and Yaakob are the assemblymen for Batu Tiga, Ijok and Kota Anggerik, respectively.

“I would like to assure the public that the Selangor government will remain intact under the leadership of Menteri Besar Datuk Seri Azmin Ali,” Yaakob said in a statement yesterday.

“I am a PKR member with dignity and principles. I will always be with PKR now and in the future.”
