3 PKR reps deny plot to quit

KUALA LUMPUR: The three PKR as­sem­bly­men ac­cused of be­ing in­volved in a sup­posed plot to bring down the PKR-led Se­lan­gor state gov­ern­ment have de­nied the ru­mour, say­ing they will re­main loyal to their party.

Rodziah Is­mail, Idris Ahmad and Yaakob Sa­pari yes­ter­day made it clear they would not leave PKR to form a coali­tion gov­ern­ment in Se­lan­gor with Umno and Pas.

Rodziah, Idris and Yaakob are the as­sem­bly­men for Batu Tiga, Ijok and Kota Ang­gerik, re­spec­tively.

“I would like to as­sure the pub­lic that the Se­lan­gor gov­ern­ment will re­main in­tact un­der the lead­er­ship of Menteri Be­sar Datuk Seri Azmin Ali,” Yaakob said in a state­ment yes­ter­day.

“I am a PKR mem­ber with dig­nity and prin­ci­ples. I will al­ways be with PKR now and in the fu­ture.”
