-

KUALA LUMPUR: Samsung’s latest offerings — the Galaxy S8 and S8+ — have finally landed in Malaysia with new features and refinements from the previous flagship phones.

The Galaxy S8 and S8+ will retail for RM3,299 and RM3,688, respectively, and are available for purchase beginning today at all Samsung Experience stores and authorised dealers nationwide.

“The phones open a gateway to a rich mobile life that takes you beyond the boundaries of today’s experiences and unlock the full potential of your imagination,” said Samsung Malaysia Electronics vice-president of IT and mobile business, Lee Jui Siang.

He said by adding an exciting suite of new features, the latest edition to the Galaxy line-up would define what it meant to “unbox your phone”.

The devices feature refined security updates with new biometric technologies, better entertainment capabilities and a new interface to enhance the way people interact with their phones.

Among other highlights is the Infinity Display, which enables an expanded screen size without necessitating a larger phone.

Both the Samsung Galaxy S8 and S8+ are available in three colours — Midnight Black, Orchid Gray and Maple Gold.
