“Nur Amirul will replace Saiful Anuar Aziz, as he has been appointed as TSG’s sports assistant director.

“As of now, the team will undergo training in Ipoh and Cameron (Highlands) for three weeks before they take part in the Tour of Japan.”

Nasiruddin added that TSG coach Jeremy Hunt will oversee activities by the riders throughout their training and the competitions.

“After the Tour of Japan and South Korea (starting on June 14), the riders will also join the Tour of Qinghai Lake in China, which is a 2.HC category race, and will be their final race.

“The tour of Qinghai Lake is scheduled to run between July 16- 29 and after which, all riders are expected to go through training in and around Kuala Lumpur in order to familiarise themselves with the route that will be used during the Sea Games.

Earlier this year, TSG riders underwent training sessions and raced in a couple of events in Melbourne, Australia, for a month before competing in Le Tour de Langkawi.
