Kimlun JV firm bags RM263m Johor deal

KUALA LUMPUR: Kimlun Corp Bhd’s 40 per cent-owned joint-venture (JV) company, JBB Kimlun Sdn Bhd, has secured a contract worth RM263 million in Johor from Astaka Padu Sdn Bhd. Kimlun said the contract was for the constructi­on of a block of office complex for Johor Baru City Council in Plentong, Johor. “The project duration was for 30 months from the date of site possession and was scheduled for completion in October 2019,” said the company in a filing to Bursa Malaysia yesterday.
