AirAsia moves ops in Viet­nam to Ter­mi­nal 2

KUALA LUMPUR: AirAsia Bhd moved its op­er­a­tions in Da Nang In­ter­na­tional Air­port, Viet­nam, from Ter­mi­nal 1 to the new Ter­mi­nal 2, ef­fec­tive yes­ter­day.

In a state­ment, AirAsia said pas­sen­gers trav­el­ling on all flights op­er­ated by the group (un­der flight code AK) were ad­vised to check-in at Ter­mi­nal 2, which was within walk­ing dis­tance from the old ter­mi­nal.

“All guests fly­ing to and from Da Nang will be in­formed of the change via email,” it said.

AirAsia op­er­ates one route from Kuala Lumpur into Da Nang, with a to­tal of seven weekly flights.

AirAsia is boost­ing ser­vices to Viet­nam next month, as it sched­ules the Bangkok Don Mueang– Da Nang route. The first flight is sched­uled on June 9 and will op­er­ate on daily ba­sis with an Air­bus A320 air­craft.
