Victory for VI boys

-

VI, who entered the pitch as Ragbi Perdana champions, led 10-3 with minutes to go.

After MCKK’s Syamel Amal Shamsuddin scored a try, Muhammad Syazani Suhami, with the last kick of the match, missed the opportunity to tie the score when his kick sailed past the left post.

Coached by Nik Mohammad Sidek Nik Jaafar, VI earned a penalty early in the first half, and converted by standoff Muhammad Haziq Akmal Jamaluddin before the Kuala Lumpur-based school widened the gap through Muhammad Afif Nurazha’s try and Haziq’s conversion after the break.

Prompted by a crowd which included busloads of supporters from Kuala Kangsar, MCKK attempted a late comeback but it was not to be.
