‘EXPIRED’ TnG REJECTED

A SEPTUAGENA­RIAN’s Touch ‘n Go (TnG) card was blackliste­d after a normal drive through the toll.

Shamsiah told Actionline that she was confused why the card she normally used was suddenly blackliste­d.

“The last time I topped up the card was a few months back and since then, I have been travelling back and forth from Kuala Lumpur to Meru without any problem at the toll.

“However, just recently, when I wanted to use my TnG card, I couldn’t pass through the toll with the informatio­n board stating that my card was invalid,” she said.

Shamsiah added that she had gone to the toll office but was met with a disappoint­ing answer.

“After the ordeal, I went straight to the office next to the toll to inquire why my card was invalid.

“However, the officer told me that all matters related to TnG cards must be brought to the attention of the TnG Sdn Bhd,” she said.

She said it was frustratin­g as she has been using the card for quite some time with no problems.

“I even went to Meru three weeks ago and everything was okay. “It is really frustratin­g to suddenly get stuck at the toll with not apparent reason. I need an answer for
