‘EX­PIRED’ TnG RE­JECTED

A SEP­TU­A­GE­NAR­IAN’s Touch ‘n Go (TnG) card was black­listed af­ter a nor­mal drive through the toll.

Sham­siah told Ac­tion­line that she was con­fused why the card she nor­mally used was sud­denly black­listed.

“The last time I topped up the card was a few months back and since then, I have been trav­el­ling back and forth from Kuala Lumpur to Meru without any prob­lem at the toll.

“How­ever, just re­cently, when I wanted to use my TnG card, I couldn’t pass through the toll with the in­for­ma­tion board stat­ing that my card was in­valid,” she said.

Sham­siah added that she had gone to the toll of­fice but was met with a dis­ap­point­ing an­swer.

“Af­ter the or­deal, I went straight to the of­fice next to the toll to in­quire why my card was in­valid.

“How­ever, the of­fi­cer told me that all mat­ters re­lated to TnG cards must be brought to the at­ten­tion of the TnG Sdn Bhd,” she said.

She said it was frus­trat­ing as she has been us­ing the card for quite some time with no prob­lems.

“I even went to Meru three weeks ago and ev­ery­thing was okay. “It is re­ally frus­trat­ing to sud­denly get stuck at the toll with not ap­par­ent rea­son. I need an an­swer for
