MASTER of Business Administration (MBA) graduates continue to achieve high salaries, beating averages from a decade ago, according to the latest research from the Association of MBAs (AMBA).

As per Graduate Management Admission Counsel’s (GMAC) survey, 95 per cent of business school graduates stated that their MBA degree was beneficial personally even during recession time.

MBA graduates are much more in demand from blue-chip employers. Therefore, Malaysian working professionals are keen to upgrade their qualification while managing work.

An internationally recognised MBA is available for working professionals to pursue over the weekend while managing their professional and personal life.

The MBA from the Anglia Ruskin University, the United Kingdom, delivered by FTMS College Malaysia, is a one-year programme in which the assessment is by coursework to allow students to focus on gaining knowledge rather than worrying for exams.

Anglia Ruskin University has recently won “The Entrepreneurial University of the Year” Award. According to the latest Research Assessment Exercise (RAE), Anglia Ruskin is a top rated modern university, with more than 30 per cent of its research submissions rated as “Internationally Excellent”.

It is ranked 10th in the Green League 2010 by People and Planet.

The programme is accredited by the Malaysian Qualifications Agency and approved by the Public Service Department (JPA).

FTMS College is proud to announce the opening of its new campus in Cyberjaya.

FTMS’s new building is set in a lush green landscape with water features and it has a centralised air conditioning system, lifts, a gym, disabled-friendly facilities as well as a 24-hour security service.

The architecture is modern with an imposing atrium to the main concourse.

FTMS College principal Dr Sajilal Divakaran said the Cyberjaya campus would become the main campus and headquarters for FTMS in Malaysia.

The weekend MBA is designed for 21st century managers with ambitions to improve their leadership and managerial skills.

Through an innovative “blended-learning” format that alternates online and in-person classes, students meet in a classroom setting just few weekends per semester.

Another option is to attend the evening classes twice a week. It is the ideal programme that combines the flexibility with a reputation that only a UK MBA can provide.

Personal consultation sessions are scheduled with lecturers over the weekend for guidance on assignments.

Lecturers are experienced in delivery of the modules and are student friendly in assuring flexibility and convenience to students.

The Weekend MBA batch consists of highlevel and middle-level managers, aged between 28 and 48, with an average supervisory experience of five years. They come from various sectors, including banking and finance, information technology, automobiles and education.

FTMS College Malaysia is located at Block 3420, Persiaran Semarak Api, Cyber 4, 63000 Cyberjaya in Selangor.
